TOPIC: Items of Interest

Items of Interest 11 years 3 months ago #3244

I have the LOc article and drawings.. I can photocopy them at work and send as PDF's after this weekend if anyone wants. If it's not for commercial purposes I think its OK, especially since the publication, AFAIK, is out of business.

Mitch, I would like a copy for a future modeling project. And, yes, I think Freight Car Journal is no longer in print.

Thanks, Mark

Great-I'll photocopy it at work and email it to myself as a PDF...then forward it to you and Bill. It's what I worked with to make mine 6 years ago. Eric Neubauer did the drafting, and I believe RMC did an article with plans around the same time in the 80's. Always thought Funaro would do one in resin since the Rdg and CNJ had them and then the MEC got some second-hand from either Rdg or CNJ.

To all, the LOc article was done by George Losse RMC June 1989. Also if interested I have a breakdown sheet of the LOd class from 4 bay hoppers salvaged, date built to new LOd number along with lightweight.
