I seem to recall reading in one of the books on Reading power that the GP30s were rushed through production and had poor fit and finish. Regardless, they’re still one of my favorites.

Too bad we lost the posts from the old forum, there were lots of great photos in the thread on the 30s.

Here are some photos of projects I have completed. The first is HTd hopper #41565,this is one of the Reading Modeler kits. The next 2 cars are old Hobbyline 4 bay ribbed hoppers that I did for HTl hoppers #70655 & 72360.
the last car is GHo gondola #31580 lettered with caboose lettering.
