I'm nearly finished my kitbash of a Lionel "Docksider" 0-6-0 as Reading Shop switcher #1251. I still need decals.

Here it is compared to the base engine (which Lionel offered decorated as #1251! But close wasn't close enough!)

Finished two of the five hoppers.I only found two pics of the prototype and modeled both.The first was found on pg.46 of RDG Color Guide #41350.Here's my version;

Side two;

Loaded with coal.Besides adding the decals I weathered and used styrene strips to simulate the extra bracing above the first five ribs on each side and end of the car.

I found a picture of 41429 that was taken in 1980.
here's 41429 side one;

Side two;

I used evergreen angle styrene for the extra bracing on this car.

Overhead shot shows the weathering applied to the interiors.

Pictures of the two cars coupled together,both mt and full.

Chris,
No criticism. The bracing on top chord is way to heavy. I have used Evergreen angles with great results. Just keep up the fine work. Love your models!!!!!!

Chris - Glad to see you added the ACI panels. Every HTd had them in the 60's and 70's.
