A little later on caught S1 No. 53 coupling up to the three and moving them to the yard.

The S1 was a proto undecorated unit I did some time ago.The unit was painted using SCII pullman green. The yellow used was floquils railbox.

One of my favorite pictures can be found on the front cover of The Railroad Press magazine Issue #84 Jan/Feb/Mar,2010.This morning I was paging through it and I decided to somewhat duplicate the picture in HO scale. The scenery isn't correct, but the first three units are the correct power.I can't tell what the fourth unit is so I coupled a 39-2 to the consist. If you have access to the magazine, here are three pics in HO to compare.

Here are some pics of the trailing power. The first unit was a factory painted Atlas.
3673 started as an undecorated Atlas model.I still have to trim off the sun shade fin on this unit.

7603 started as an undec.P2K unit, added the extended cab.

3417 also undecorated Atlas Trainman unit.

The first three cars in the train were all RDG units. All three were decorated using the decals offered by the RDG Modeler.
