Hi All,

First post on here of our layout the JL&T Railroad. Its based around the Reading Lines - Conrail merger era (80's - 90's), with a little twist that the Reading was saved and has lived on a little longer...

Anyhow enjoy the photos.

Jas...

Thanks Chris, will do. I have all the SD45 series, the GP40-2 series (bar 3675), 4 x GP35's, SW1500 (with another 2 on the way), 2 x C630's and a couple of GP7's. I'll try and post some pics of them all soon.

Did some railfanning yesterday and happened to catch a RDG freight and two LV trains.
The power on the RDG was two GP30's and a SD45.

The first LV had GP38ac power. One of the units is factory painted,I did the other two.

The 2nd LV had heavy tonnage.Four 420 units pulling. All the units are Atlas models, one unit is factory painted.

The first three cars in the consist happened to be RDG covered hoppers.

Pushing on the end of the train were a 600&400.The C628 is a factory painted Bowser,I added the weathering. The 403 started life as an undecorated Atlas unit.

Caught the local RDG power and caboose heading to pick up their train.

Final look at the pushers.
