Chris,
Are these the cars the READING MOdeler had for sale. I notice,I believe, lease info above roadname and number. Also, what lettering did you use in the orange panel?

Thanks and great models!

Just checked my photo's. The only other HTd that I have a photo of with the orange panel is the 41306. I can't read what the restrictive service is though unfortunately.

Francis...Yes,these are the hoppers that were sold through the RDG Modeler. The lease info was provided on the decal sheet that came with the models.I applied the When Empty Return To Reading Company Annville,Pa.decal to the orange panel. This was also included on the decal sheet.I was going to apply the black lettering from microscales mc-4138 rdg 2 bay hoppers but it wouldn't fit. That lettering reads,For Stone Loading Only Return To Reading Company When Empty.

I found another HTd orange panel on video. The car number is 41315 and the lettering in the panel is unreadable, unfortunately. If you have the Mark1Video A Reading Company Scrapbook-1 you will find it there in the last couple of frames.

hmmm getting a pretty tight group of orange panels here with 41301, 41306, and 41315.....

Perhaps there is a group - start checking for photos of cars in between those numbers. See what we can find. When I get home I will check my 1971 Freight Equipment Register to see if there are any notes.

Just checked my 1975 Equipment Register and it doesn't list any notes at all for the HTd's
