We also want to hear about YOUR Reading modeling projects!

T1 #2107 coming into Cape May

Well, to my knowledge never happened. The North Penn S Gaugers this past year decided to build a new modular set up. All the sections will be club owned.
My father was an early member, and if you wanted to run, you built a module. He built this about 1985, and he wanted to portray the Reading/PRSL in South Jersey.

I set it up this pas weekend. Touched up a few area's, and placed 2107 on it for a few pictures.

For those that could not make the last RRMM, 2107 is S Scale built by Frank Titman. I have since re-motored it and added a TCS WOW DCC to it.

Enjoy,
Hugh Sinn

I get the attraction to the yellow and green scheme, but only if they are could all be bought RTR. I would never want to paint it myself!

Pulled a couple of hoppers out of storage and added IM 33" steel wheel sets to all...painted the wheel faces and trucks grimy black.Added the extra top bracing using strip styrene angle item #291 cut to lengths of 1& 9/32" and painted weathered black...also added the aci decals and weathered the interior and exterior of the units.

Interior weathering paint and powders.

Orange panels pressed into coal service...the loads were given a spray of Model Master's semi-gloss.As a kid I could remember seeing a lot of these cars leaving the New Saint Nicholas breaker on the Mine Hill.

Also worked on a couple of Stewart/Bowser hoppers.

Not great on quality but a vid of geep 30's 3615/06/05 and c424 5207 hauling some black diamonds.
