This week I was able to get the paint applied to my next GP30 project.Decaling to start tomorrow.

I usually model HO, but went a little larger with this O scale LOd covered hopper,it was kitbashed from a Weaver O scale PS-2 covered hopper.

That IS a really cool LOd. I think Mitch from Maine did one in HO a while back. Amongst all of my other half-started cars, I've been scheming for years, on a way to bash one in HO myself. These "pillow top" hoppers as I've always thought of them, are real stand outs. After seeing your model here Butch, I think I've hatched a plan to get a fairly good representation of one out of a roundhouse covered hopper.
