This board is the place where questions and information specific to MODELING the Reading Company, its equipment and operations can be shared - questions like "What was the window arrangement of AF Tower in Alburtis?" and "What color paint do YOU use to paint the Reading's cream-and-brown buildings?" We also want to hear about YOUR Reading modeling projects!

The yellow "Bee Line" logo used on Chris' loco appeared on one box car. Rather mysteriously, the only photos I have seen of it are all taken on the shop property with snow around it and there does not seem to be any photos of it on the road, nor on any other equipment.

Nice work, as always, Chris. Our favorite prolific prototyper has become a frequent foobier!

Nice to see your collection in action Chris, and more videos being posted in general. I see I'm not the only one who kept that orange panel on the wrong end of a HTw...

Bill...that HTw was from the 4 car set offered by Roundhouse years ago and that entire end was painted orange.I painted the orange areas and let the panel be.

Finished a side project of New Hope and Ivyland 9 built using a proto 2000 0-6-0 I have had a while. I had help on details from friends that are currently working on getting the real 9 running at SMS. Decals are custom printed, I did the art, from Bedlam Creations out of Michigan. They took a little longer then I expected, but I have never gotten custom decals before, but I am very happy with the decals. They were easy to work with and went down easily.

And 9 in action, also some "modern" stuff I honestly don't run often.

Loss of mail and Railway Express Agency contracts prompts severe cuts in passenger service, including annulment of all service to Shamokin, and the Allentown-Harrisburg trains, and a reduction on remaining routes. RDCs replace most locomotive-hauled trains, freeing former passenger locomotives for freight service.
